CMR is part of a much bigger story — one that began long before the company existed.

That story started in 1999, when LFS South Africa was founded with a simple but powerful mission: to serve people with integrity, excellence, and purpose. Over the years, LFS grew into a trusted logistics partner across Southern Africa, supporting major industries and building a reputation for reliability, relationship‑driven service, and long‑term impact.

Two decades later, in early 2023, another chapter began.
Charl, Mark, and Reuel met and quickly discovered a shared Christian faith, shared values, and a shared vision. What began as professional respect grew into genuine friendship — and then into a brotherhood. As they journeyed together, it became clear that their connection was not coincidence but calling.

With decades of combined experience across shipping, ports, transport, warehousing, customs, and major projects, the three founders saw the same opportunity: to extend the LFS legacy into Oceania and build a stronger commercial and relational bridge between New Zealand and South Africa.

In 2025, that calling became CMR Logistics — the Oceania arm of LFS South Africa.

One company. Two locations. One global outlook.
Today, CMR and LFS operate as a unified network, serving exporters and importers across both regions with the same heart, the same values, and the same commitment to people. Together, they carry a shared mission: to build meaningful connections, strengthen trade pathways, and honour God through the way they serve.
